Cape Hatteras Lighthouse

The Cape Hatteras Lighthouse in Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, soon after it was moved to its new location several hundred yards away from the shoreline. Beach erosion along the Outer Banks placed the lighthouse in harm's way and the monumental task of moving the old lighthouse was undertaken.
